The story of Peruvian Llama

The story of Peruvian Llama

Peruvian Llama is the dream of owner Samaria Xilotl, who fell in love with her heritage and wanted to share it with her Connecticut community.

Our family roots

Samaria grew up as the daughter of immigrant parents who came to the United States in search of a better life. From her family, she learned the values of independence, resilience, and a deep pride in her cultural heritage.
Learning from Peru

Learning from Peru

To truly understand her heritage, Samaria traveled to Peru many times to learn from the people and experience the local way of life. She returned with a deep appreciation for traditional recipes, flavors, and the warmth of Peruvian hospitality.
Service and community

Service and community

After graduating high school in 2025, Samaria chose to serve her country by joining the National Guard. She brings that same spirit of dedication and care back to her neighbors here in Connecticut.
